Anybody know, can you order a NYC without graphite in the neck? Cheers

You can get a Metro. They do not have graphite.

Why would you want to? NYCs have a flatsawn neck, and need the graphite.

I disagree.....our necks are just as stable with or without graphite. There have been no issues with 3000 + bass necks we made before we went to graphite.

The purpose of the graphite is do reduce dead spots and increase evenness all over the fingerboard.

Thanks , I am making a note of that , I also see your tube head back there , do you think you will ever put those out again ? . I got to play thru one once , probably the nicest bass amp sound I have ever heard.
