@ Paul C. - That P build you have ordered got my attention! Sounds like a great piece of artwork as well as a tone machine. I'm bettin' you'll love the Sad' flats on the P also. There's a couple of us in these parts that do. :D
Don't forget to consider a spare 2nd tort guard to lay on that beauty colour. Best $75 I ever spend for a change of dress-up.

That's a great idea.
 
Although I still love the mint PG, there's something pretty special/classic/old school about tortoise shell to me. Real tort guitar picks were available back in the '60s. I'd love to see somebody make translucent tort PGs if they could come up with a material that wouldn't warp. Some of the early Fender stuff did warp.
A change of PG is something that is very refreshing I find.
