It's good to see the trials with the different pickups and circuit variants.

I just ordered a set of Delano single slugs that I am going to try in my RV4. I am having really good results with the Sadowsky preamp in a 97 Jazz Deluxe with the Suhr single slugs and am hoping the Delano's might be similar.

My '62 had a stripped body when it came out of the pawn shop in 1987, and I had Bryan Galloup refin the body with nitro. I remember Bryan talking about the bent plate bridges vs the "more solid" options and him saying the bent plate may be less "solid" but captures the Fender vibe better. I have to agree.

Not at all an uncommon weight for an NYC, although I still prefer the idea of a solid body.

Thats awesome. Ive been to the brink a few times but backed off. Did you find one that bolts on to the original holes?

Well I have 3 Bent plates.. Jimmy from alleva coppolo has a few made up from his metal machine shop guy in LA.. ive been demoing them.. So there are 3 different types.. The one that i have on the bass now is vintage style .. one of the others is like a 70s fender type with the one grove in the saddle.

What bridge is it?
