I just released this. Posting here because I recorded the bass track with my Sadowsky Modern. Admittedly, the line is just a repeated one bar phrase, but still. I'd originally tracked with a Sadowsky Jazz but I needed a bit more space between the notes so I brought in the Modern. The line is simple but it was surprisingly difficult to play it cleanly from the beginning of the track until the end.

No. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you cannot order the black hardware from Sadowsky..... You have to order it with your NYC Sadowsky. Mine is a Metro.

As far as I know as long as you own an NYC you can order one. Just not if you have a Metro. If you find one used for sale from an NYC it will fit a Metro though.

Well, so often it is stated in this thread what you can't get from Sadowsky, but then a simple phone call proves otherwise. I'll give them a ring-a-ling on the ting-a-ling and ask about that.

Just to confirm, we do not have replacement hardware in black for the MetroLine basses. We do not offer black hardware for the NYC Satin series either.

Okay, you have heard (read) it from @Sadowsky himself and a phone call (sorry, it was before I saw Roger's response) to Peter confirms it. If you want black hardware, step up to the plate!

So, Metro owners wanting black or mauve or hot pink or cyan (really @Spidey2112? ) or any other color hardware to match your eyes just ain't gonna happen - The End!!

Certainly it should be very simple to do so, however if they wish to reserve that as one of the few points of distinction for the flagship NYC line that's understandable since they're mostly only distinct visually (figured tops and such).

It can't be tough to find suitable aftermarket hardware. It's not like Sadowsky mills their own.
