You seem to group WL and NYC, and then separate Metro. It should group Metro and NYC, and separate WL. I know you know what you're talking about, just the post is organized oddly.

I was actually explaining the fret material, width and height differences. Not the number of frets.

LOL! So it looks like it boils down to the fact you threw that "WL" in there, so I thought it mattered. Seems like it's really just about NYC vs Metro regardless of model.

I’ve been pondering doing this for a while now. I’ve been playing almost exclusively fretless, and when I do play fretted it is always my Sadowsky Metro M5-24, which I will never part with. I’ve decided to liquidate some excess basses (Sadowsky MV-5, Fender P5, Fender/Warmoth P5 fretless) to help offset the purchase of a new top-notch fretless...apparently the best ones are built in New York City by some guy named Roger?? I’ll be listing a bunch of stuff on TB this evening as a result of my purchasing activity this morning, because, while enjoying my coffee, I called the Sadowsky shop and pulled the trigger on this! My first NYC!

I can play fretless but it sounds like I'm drunk when I play. So as long as everyone in the bar is hammered then it's all good.
