Here ya go as requested. Already put the Dunlop locks on and took the cling off. Played it at rock band rehearsal late last week and church Saturday/Sunday. Fires on all 8 cylinders, and one of the lightest basses I've ever owned. Great add to my stable.

I don't own a Metro. Only a couple NYC's and now this Metro Express. I don't really have a good way to measure these things, but it feels pretty comparable to my older 21fret. My newer NYC feels a little more slender, but it's also a 24 fret with the narrower nut.
I have a NYC4 and compared that to a couple of Metro Express 4's that came into my shop. By feel only, I thought one of the expresses was just a smidge thicker but very close. Mr Sadowsky gave me a thorough tongue lashing for that. But hey it was based on feel and my hand is pretty sensitive. He stated quite emphatically that they CNC machined on the same plans as the NYC's. So, there you go.

My experience is a bit different...I have never heard any of my players getting lost in the mix with the two band. They get lost in the mix with a three band and too much mid boost. I have received overwhelming complements from engineers, front of house soundmen and players that their basses cut through perfectly no matter where they set the treble and bass controls.

On my PJ5, my pickup blend is my mid-boost, and my VTC is my 'Motown to Marcus' knob. Thanks to you sir, now all I have to worry about is 'how many more measures before that squirrelly b-section'.
+1 to both Roger @Sadowsky and @ElMon ’s posts. The magic of the 2 band w/VTC preamp is that essentially ALL of the classic cover tones are right there. Sound guys have universally raved. Best bass package I’ve found for cover gigs. Period

I've always wondered if the 'these can get buried in the mix' guys are using darker-sounding tube-rigs. Part of what I love about Roger's pre is how the MOSFET (if I'm wrong about the terminology, be gentle) design imparts a tube-like warmth to clean-sounding SS rigs.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again:
Roger's basses are the 'sound in the head' of 99.9% of all non-bassists. Guitar players/keyboardists/soundguys/audience members. IME at least. Even when I screw up the chord changes, I sound good doing it.
Any of you with both 1-3/4” and 1-7/8” nut 5’s in your stable? Any playing adjustment concerns switching back and forth quickly, or no big deal? I currently have all 1-7/8” 5’s, but was thinking to order a 1-3/4” JJ.
My newest 4-21 (1-1/2”) JJ has me contemplating this, as switching 5’s to my 4 has been no problem (but the necks are obviously quite different size/feel...) Both my 1-7/8” P5 PJ/5-24 FL aren’t going anywhere, so...thoughts?
