I'd like to introduce my "black" Sadowsky
he has an alder body, rosewood fingerboard
and has a roasted neck with a VINTIQUITY Nitro Look
Love it! Great classic look. More pics of the back of the neck, please.
Congrats! Be sure to post pics when it arrives!
Did you go solid or chambered?
Chambered. One of the design objectives was for a super-light bass. Lisa sent me a photo of the body on the scale. Body only is 2.49 lbs.
Anyone know the thickness of the Metro pickguards? I looked all over but couldn't find the size. I'm thinking
I was on vacation last week and could have gotten down to Queens. Now, they post this beauty and I’m back to work with a new assignment.
and for everyone else who likes it.

Metro Express SN ME560 arrived yesterday. Wow! Fabulous looking, flawless, great playing and great sounding! Excuse me for the crappy cell phone pics. Can I get a number, please.
You are #549. Welcome to the club. CAR looks great!
Look how dark the morado/pau ferro fretboard is after oiling with F1. It's absolutely stunning!
Nice! Congrats and enjoy!
Thank you ko!! I'm enjoying it right now!
Wait until you play it in a band context!
Posted this on the Genzler Club thread. But, it’s all Sadowsky so here you go. Just a quick snippet from sound check. These Satin Modern basses are amazing!!
New Bass Day Story!
So I was in NY yesterday for an appointment with my Rheumatologist to discuss my Rheumatoid Arthritis since it’s gotten so bad over the past year. We came up with a solid plan and was feeling pretty good after the appointment, so I decided to take a trip to the city and visit the Sadowsky Showroom!
When we arrived, we were greeted by none other than Roger Sadowsky himself. He directed us to the show room and pointed out some bass for me to check out. As I stared at the wall of about 40 Sadowsky bass, I just kept wishing I was a millionaire and could buy all of them! Each one was a work of art.
As I played some of the basses, I really connected to the Verdine White Signature Basses. Amazing total options with Sadowsky P and J pups in a classic style. Besides that, that satin finishes are so cool and different.
Well, with that I fell in love with a 5 string Verdine White and got the okay from my wife to make the purchase! I explained to Roger that I had Rheumatoid Arthritis and usually like my action low. He took the bass and did a setup right then and there for me. He even did some special neck adjustments to allow for even lower action if I need it due to my RA!
It was an excellent experience. Everyone in the shop was polite, professional, and most of all approachable and friendly. I highly recommend visiting the showroom is you have not. Wonderful vibes from the best in the business!
The shop dogs were awesome too!
