can a man get with a Metro??

The body shape of the new 24 fret models is the same as the original 24-fret models. They just added the pickguard and control plate for the "vintage" look. The body itself is a lot like the standard jazz shape with a deeper cutaway for access to the upper register.
Friday night, I had the pleasure of hanging out with Frandiaz at my gig. Saturday morning I saw the new "In Stock" page. I hope he has enough money left to get home! A great guy, with great taste in basses...natural....natural...natural. Have a great time in NYC, Fran.

I've been saving like a nutter and I seriously thought about pulling the trigger on that Sea Foam Green one.....
Problem is that I tried a Metro not too long ago, and I found that particular bass to be really nice. Same wood combination as the SFG NYC there.
I've never played an NYC, so I cant comment, but do you guys who own both a Metro and an NYC notice the weight difference significantly when you play on stage? Thats probably my main concern. If the weight difference isnt too drastic, then this fella is headed for a lowly Metro (and pedals with the extra money). =D

Personally, I see quite a lot of difference between the NYC and Metro basses. There's also guys on here who can't see any difference. I think it's all personal taste.

My NYC is 7.5 lbs. I've also had a Metro that weighed just over 9.5 lbs. To me this is a huge difference.
