I just bought #ME716 Olympic White Metro RV5 MetroExpress 5-21.
I have #ME1267 maple board, Ice Metalic blue. Now I have Morado and maple boards.

We are done. The ones on the site are leftover orders from Japan that were delayed.
My complete arsenal. I’ve done some bridge changes (reduced more weight) on my ME’s and pickup change to Ulyates pickups on all 3 basses, my personal preferences. This PJ5 pic has original pups before I swapped pups. I really like what I’m getting with these basses. You want a bass that makes you wanna pick it up and play or practice. These are the ones for me. They’ve actually killed my bass gas.

After some time with the 5 string and 4 string metro expresses I’m getting used to the 5 string finally. I’d like to be proficient in both.
Quick question regarding pickups
the hum cancelling express pickups are 4 string made by dimarzio with Rogers specs.
do they make the 5 string as well ? Very slight difference in them. I like them both a lot.
also I have a modern inbound. Does Nordstrand or SD make the 5 stringers to Rogers specs ?

As are 8806 and 8621. That dark cherry P is something else. Love both of the blocked necks. Black pearl on 8802 is gorgeous!
8806 almost had me. I opted for another one out of the bunch but 8806 is gorgeous.
I don't know which of you guys, if anyone here, got 8792 (it would have been ~3 months back maybe), but that was the one. I hemmed and hawed and wish I would have gotten it. That said, I love where I landed, but if I ever do custom, that one with blocks really what I'm thinking.
But the red with black pearl is amazing....and I usually dislike red.
On the Warwick site there is a circuit diagram of the onboard preamp 4-knob system without the VTC for the new RSD MetroExpress. It shows that the treble-knob also is a push-pull knob. My question: is that correct, and if so, what doest it do?I read earlier that the new Chinese Metro Express will have single coils (humcancelling pickups for an additional charge), and don’t have the VTC control, but that also is available.
Makes sense to differentiate the Metro Express from the Metro Line. I have a MetroLine MV5 and couldn’t tell any difference comparing it to the Metro Express! So, I just bought a new Metro Express RV4 and it is wonderfulNot many left in the U.K. and mine’s an extremely cool ‘Ice Blue Metallic’ @ 8.32lbs. Never been a fan of Fender’s Pau Ferro, but Sadowsky Morado is a thing of beauty!

i'm supposing it's a passive/active control, since I don't think a 100pf cap would be right for a VTC, plus there's no VTC mentioned in the new ME specs, just bass and treble.
That would be me. Couldn't stop thinking about it after I first saw it and looked at it every day for almost a week. At the end I just couldn't resist. Fantastic bass.
i don't think so, because i think i read for $75 you can add the VTC control (which i think is just the control, not the switch as well), so i think it does active/passive, just no VTC. it's not officially documented that i've found, however, so still looking for confirmation, but this is what i currently believe.
no, it says "NYC" on the headstock, plus there is no metroexpress with those specs anyway. pretty sure it's an NYC Satin.
