+1 The MV Metro model is basically the NYC Vintage 'non-routed' ash model that Big String and I are talking about.

Yes, Sullivan Hall. I am using their stock amp and cabinets (not my favorite). The sound of the camera is not the best.
The cabs are a little boomy indeed, as is the room there.

My Ultra is a NYC. It has the 60's position single coil pups also. I had mine change to vol/blend/vtc/stack

So, pulled up to the studio about a half hour ago.
Brought several basses (a master session, not demo), Sadowsky, Fender, Valenti, Yamaha.
All great sounding basses.
Pulled out the Sadowsky first. They didn't even ask to hear the others.

is it possible to get a picture of any NYC Sadowsky from the sadowsky site? I tried plugging the serial number of my bass (the one thats en route to me) to the link that some others have used, and no luck. Just curious...i'd love to see a good picture of it. The serial number is 4197.
