I wonder if this is replacing the Pro Go Line or adding more options.Gator has their new Icon Series case coming out in November that looks promising as well.

Good choice! Plenty of room for other stuff too. Only downside for me, is it doesn't load from the top. Also, kinda heavy.I ended up ordering an Access Stage 5. The cost to ship a Portabag from Warwick was too much. Plus, Access had the Stage 5 on sale!

Portabag for the win! Two of my TYOs came with those. Just a great design. And much lighter (subjectively) than my Contego - which is now gone. No issues with Mono M80 single or double, but I rarely use them. So there’s that. That looks like the Protec Contego bag... goes for 170 on Amazon. I bought mine years ago for a lot less, great bag!! Semi solid case.
My only complaint was that the big pocket was not square to accommodate big chart books, but I managed to fit it in.

Can I get a number as well? I'm a Metroexpress owner now, got this in a month ago or so, can't seem to put it down. Absolutely love it.
(About the headstock logo, before anyone jumps me about it, not a fan of the metroexpress or RSD logo, so I changed it, couldn't get an original from sadowsky, so I got one and cut off the "guitars/NYC" part of it, as I'm not trying to "fool" anyone, just needs that iconic logo)
Sorry for being so late. #581 for you. Welcome to the club.
The day I discovered the [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]o I was pretty much done with every other case or gig bag. It’s solid & extremely plush. The pockets are huge and include a laptop/iPad sleeve and cable management loops. There are handles everywhere. It comes with a rain cover. It’s very comfortable on the shoulder. It has a lifetime warranty. And best of all, it’s $199. It feels a little lighter than the Portabag, but equally as sturdy/protective. I have one for bass and one for guitar and they both work great.
If I’m being honest, the only reason I carry my Sadowsky in the Portabag is the logo. Shallow, but true

The only complaint I have with the Portabag is the backpack straps. For me, the metal pieces at the top dig into my back pretty good. I'm also not fond of the grippy material on them, but I do see how that could be a useful feature.
Regarding "grippy": if I'm not rushing out the door I like to flip the straps to the "slippy" side.
I've done the same, but it always seems the other side catches my shirt as I'm going for the dismount. It's some super stuff as it always seems to dang near take my shirt with it.
I had my tech install a new jack and since getting my bass back my battery has been draining as if the bass is constantly plugged in. My tech is away on vacation right now but in the meantime, does anything here look off to those of you familiar with the drop-in Sadowsky preamp wiring?

Wow. I once played a double soapbar WL5 at the NYC shop but was not impressed, and have found love with WL single coils...but that shop axe was plain vanilla compared with your wood mix! Please regale us with tales of the wood cocktail - okume on that body? And - most importantly - how does it sound?
