Another thing to check is to loosen the string to see if it may have twisted when it was put on. If that happened it may have ruined the string but sometimes loosening it and then reseating in the bridge helps.

Dying to hear your report on how this sounds! Have seriously thought about this same configuration, tied to a WL5.

more later of course, but from what i remember from the NAMM show from a fairly similar build (same elex, just different woods, and maybe model), my overall favorite sound was the reverse p and the 70's j, but all the sounds were awesome. and when you start using more of the coils overall, it's a force to be reckoned with!!This!
I bought this bass off from Roger about 5-6 weeks ago. It truly is a phenomenal bass and extremely well built. Quality and attention to detail are top notch. I love the ultra vintage 20 fret feel with modern sound from the pre amp. Roger was really great to work with. Initially I struggled with the 5 strings (I’ve been a 4 guy) but not I’ve got it. Just a beautiful instrument. I put some TI flat wounds on it and it’s the perfect jazz bass sound to me…
Thanks to this thread for all of the great info.

Yassir. I even considered putting the WL module in it but that would have been too much stuff. Plus I've never craved that feature anyway.Wow that’s so beautiful…AND on a Modern body with 24 frets?!?!

My first Sadowsky! What an unbelievable bass - I’ve been a 4 string player for a long time so took me about 2 weeks to adjust the the Sadowsky - but feels like butter now. Really impressed with Roger and his teams quality and attention detail. Put TI fists on her and she plays perfect.
I think it was me.. I asked for a number in a post questioning about a banning in the fb owners group .Hey Chet, I took the liberty of giving you a club number: #587. I read a petiotion a few days ago but I can't find who did it. If it was you, great. If it was another TBer, my apologies and please, ask again.
