Looks like Landing.
# on their FB page has a Pittsburgh area code.Never heard of "Landing" basses. Where are they made?
Gary,Hi
I’m A newbie and read this thread to gain knowledge about the world of bass! There seems to be lots of discussion about the combination and types of pick ups , but not a lot in terms of the type of strings and gauges. Can comments about pick up styles and types be relevant if we don’t know the string being used?
Sorry if this a dumb assumption or question!
My masterbuilt came with Sadowsky’s own nickel strings ( I think ) … do most people stick with Sadowsky strings or change brand to a personal preference?
Thanks
Gary
Two of the custom builds were built with Sadowsky flats, I just don't dig the low B

Dang, am I the only one who ordered dots along with their skyline inlay?

Most of my basses have plain 'boards, but I like jazz and p basses with dots (or blocks and binding). And I've been all about that skyline inlay since I saw it.Unless it has blocks I really don’t see the board dots. Last month I ordered a Spector NS-2 without board dots.
As long as the side dots are large enough for my old bespectacled eyes I’m fine.
Love that color and pickguard! Enjoy!Super excited to get this Super P/J in my hands next week!

Thanks! I have a ton of "fancy top" basses, and I have always loved Roger's candy apple orange finish, so I thought this would be a great bass for that color. I am really pleased with how nicely the pickguard accents the color, too.![]()
If I get this right this is the most versatile bass Sadowsky has made.
