I bought one of that same LTD Masterbuilt editions and mine did not come with a polishing set or furry protector.
About to install these beauties on a Roscoe SKB

Hmm...Roscoe uses P4 size pickups for their 5 and 6 strings and the Sadowsky pickups are P2 shaped. While it would've been some great tones, I sense some disappointment in your future.
Yep! I did put them in just to see how they sounded but a bit too small. I recorded a song with the sadowsky soapbars and with the aguilar DCBs, they are like 95% similar in tone....
I am modding another Yamaha BBN5 and will be installing the sadowsky soapbars and preamp tomorrow
Hello Sadowsky team, I bought a Sadowsky metroline in June 2021 which was manufactured in June 2020. In the meantime I haven't used it much. And always in passive mode. Recently, I realized by wanting to use the active mode than the electronic produced a hum. Other people on this forum have had this problem with these first German series. I would like to know how they solved this problem.

My pre-owned NYC has noise on the treble boost channel. Not an issue for me, as I do my utmost to stay out of treble!

I have 4 sets of Dunlop 5-string nickels and one set of Marcus Miller steels laying around since 3-4 years, any one uses them on a Sad Metro 5-string? If so what is your opinion? I have always used Sadowsky strings a little bit heavier gauge than the Dunlops 45 - 125.

If that "aged nitro" is referring to the darker color, he may still offer that. I have that on my JJ5 custom, but not my newer SP/SJ custom... and honestly, had I thought of it at the time, I might have went for it again... maybe. But it definitely went with the 59 burst on my other one, even though it also has an ebony board and 24 frets, which isn't really "classic".
Looking at the listing from the Sadowsky page, it looks like it refers to the checking of the nitro finish for a vintage look...

That’s a great collection! One of my two NYC Sadowsky basses is also ash/Brazilian rosewood. Mine is a JJ configuration though. From the photos it looks like they might be from a similar production era.
