Club Sadowsky!!!

2023 Masterbuilt

Black hardware (and lol Hipshot USA UL tuners)…otherwise great specs. At first glance… thought it was satin finish, until Lars mentioned HP finish. I do prefer W’s IFT technology, and matching top wood headstock option! Okoume and rosewood is indeed a great combo (having that combo myself)…street $’s?

Hi Guys im new and just join the club and nice to meet you all
long time ago i have metroline 2017 MIJ and sold it (still miss it :(.....)
but now i back again Metroline Germany 2022 its sound fantastic and i very like it ans swear i will not sell them again .

but i have some question to ask about it , please correct me if im wrong
- i just realize the MIG preamp differrent than MIJ when i boost the treble i need to boost a lot for get a bright sound (around 40-50 %) but in MIJ im just increase aroud 10-20 % is this normal for MIG ? (my string too new i use Sadowsky Blue Label stainless) happen to VTC control also

- when i switch to Passive Mode the sound look dull than active is this normal ?

- usually How many percent are you guys adjusting the bass boost? mine is around 10-20%

please help clarify about this and thanks you , Cheers !

I ordered mine in December ‘21 (got the final details and quote on Jan 1, ‘22- I swear Roger never takes a day off ;)), and haven’t received it yet, fyi. I’m pretty patient though, as I know it’ll be worth the wait… :)
Same exact order/response time. Sent a note last month to see about time estimate and Roger responded, but haven’t heard from Lukasz yet. I know they’re crazy busy, so I haven’t chased it down. I just joined a new band, so I really want to play it for summer festival season.

After owning 2 Japanese metros and 5 German metrolines I will tell you they are different. I don't see them changing them according to them it works perfectly fine. On my latest metroline I get 100% of the bass in the first 5% of knob turn. I am running the VTC at like 10% and the treble at 5% and the bass is so bright like too much

The preamp is basically the same for both MIJ and MIG model, they sound the same to my ears, level wise is the same also.
Just make sure the pointer of the knob is the same in order to make the level comparsion.

Not sure what is dull to you but I don't really find it dull, pickups is different compared to MIJ and MIG model tho.

Having just done my first gig with the TI flats in my mij Will Lee I have to say they are a real game changer for me. The tone controls seem much more useable and the mid boost can give me an instant p bass sound. I don't slap and I like that the mellower highs of the TIs and their mid focus really seems to complement the boost only of the active preamp. Plus the feel on that Sadowsky neck with the slightly smaller nut is a joy.
