Yes, saw the new site….looks great. I loved the old “sold basses” gallery. Those are like a catalog of options on full display. Not sure if you’re considering having them on the new site, but I did find those photo’s a joy to peruse.

Also…..Just found and bought this…..

A 2009 Japan Metro. Got a fantastic deal from a guy on the other side of the planet. Being delivered from Perth Australia to Cincy OH. Love the cases on these older Metros too. Light but very protective.

Motion carried? lol. I also love that feature. I agree it's a powerful tool when spec'ing a new bass... or just browsing for fun. Please bring it back. :)

So if Roger gets into answering questions about the Warwick stuff, it's strictly out of the goodness of his soul. It's not his official role.

Vic...I appreciate your comments. To elaborate, I travel to Germany when necessary and work with the crew to ensure everything is made to my specifications. I approve every new model and inspect the prototypes. I am constantly providing feedback to Germany from my personal experience with my MetroLine inventory and the feedback I get from everyone else. While I don't run the nuts and bolts of the Metro production, I like to think I am still the "Face of the Brand".

The store is not finished yet. We're working on it with our web developer and will have it up and running sooner than later.

Same for the "sold instruments section." We need to figure out how do that best in the new space (we have a different back end setup), but we know how popular (and helpful) it is and will get it up sooner than later as well.

In the meantime, if you need anything, please call the shop or email Roger.

That's what I figured. I know you guys will take care of it.
I just ordered my new build in July, I think I have a little time before I'll need the funds from these two. :D

Roger, I love the Modern, and this’ll be my 2nd time around owning one. (I also have a MetroExpress verdine that I VTC’d, and has been my #1 for the past 3 years.)

Quick Question…..what’s the difference between the older larger pickups and the current ones being used in the Modern?

They are both the same design. The smaller shell was not available when I first had this pickup designed. I think the new shell is more elegant and graceful looking.

Agreed. The soft touch material is also a nice improvement. So these are Dual Coil Humbucker pickups with Blade style magnets under the cover, if I’m correct.

Although, the older covers do provide an excellent thumb rest, I must say.

Agreed 100% I too used to reference the Sold Gallery to get ideas. Thank Goodness I’m content for now.:woot: And after buying a new Canyon road bike, I’m spent!

We're getting there with the site. Rapidly working out a lot of the kinks. Should have up a sale page soon and once that format is tested, we can put up the old/sold instruments.

In the meantime, the custom order form is back up and running: Custom Order – Sadowsky Guitars

The site is looking good! I like the visual selection for the different models now - pictures are good!

What would be REALLY cool (and take a lot of work) would be to take a bass (or guitar) from the Old/Sold list and use it as the basis for a custom build.

For example, someday I would love to have a 5-string version of my Deluxe Satin Vintage 4-21. Being able to select it from the Sold gallery and having all of the options for it filled in on the Custom Order page, where I'd just have to change it to a 5-21, would be nice.

Yes, I know, I can email Roger and give him my serial number and he can do that, and the interaction would be a lot more fun than filling out a web form, and there are probably some design tweaks he would recommend along the way...

Maybe I'm retracting my idea here. Yeah, never mind - part of the experience with Sadowsky custom builds is the process. No shortcuts needed!
