Not to knock the PortaBag, but for $2 more (before shipping & taxes), I’d take the Access.
The PortaBag is not a bad bag, and since it came with my NYC (and I got the Access for another bass from NY), it’ll be the one I use to schlep her around. I do like that the PB has dual zippers for all the pockets, but the Stage 5 has a lot more pockets. YMMV.
All that being said, my Mono Vertigo is still my #1 bag (with the Tick attachment).
Funny you say that. I use the Sadowsky Portabags with the basses that came with them and (now) the Access bags for everything else not stored in hardcases. For those few instruments, I also use the Mono Vertigo when I take them out. It's a good system!
and it's sound and versatility is priceless also...
