The wood grain looks to me like ash and the board is darker than morado. Even the bridge more-rounded corners looks like a NYC bridge. Sure it's a Metro?

the guy that mixed is one of the sound guys at The Blue Note here in town: pretty good and that.
We've not really recorded much with each other; tho we've all tracked with a lot of other folks.
I'd love to have the fundage behind us to do a cd. While the dvd of the show would make a "passable" cd; we typically do different material than what we did there.

Wanted to share the Sadowsky love with a pic of my Oly White RV4 I got from fellow TB'er "MrDos" this past spring. I now know why there are those of love their Sadowskys.
The bass is built great, feels great and sounds great!
Now, the fun part is deciding (well, gassing for now) if my next Sadowsky will be a P, PJ (Jazz body) or a PJ (P body).

thanks Fran i have two more modern 5 Metros but you've seen them before. I think the RS5 takes a pretty good pic. I've been reading the club pages for a while and drooling over all the NYC Sads good to finally be on board.

Well here's mine, it still works, and it is still a much better bass then I am a bass player. I installed SC's which I love otherwise it's stock. I've been running DR Marcus Millers, and I can't decide if I like them better then the Sadowsky Blue Steels or not. I do wish DR had taperwound B's.

Thanks Rob but there's nothing in the cavity or on the cover. I examined it for 10 minutes to make sure its not written really small but nothing.
Now I'm not worry because I bought it new but I'm curious about it. In the video Roger made with Larry DiMarzio Roger is using my bass to explain stuff about construction.
I wonder if there is a way to know with the serial #
