Club Sadowsky!!!

Yeah, I'm in too:

 Man, that is beautiful.

Please excuse my Sadowsky ignorance, but is that a Metro or NYC?

Yeah, I remember our conversation :D
If I go for a Metro Hybrid it will have to be a J though right Vic ...:smug:

Nothing wrong with the J neck, I love the one on my J, my P neck is just another kind of 'awesome'. :smug:

The Metros are now available with the vintage tint. Don't forget to order it that way if you go Metro. :bassist:
Ah! and order some chromed knobs. It doesn't look like a P with the black ones :D.

For those who missed it it's a Metro UV70 I just picked up yesterday, seems to be a real gem.....

If that's the one Metro 5 string J bass that they had in the shop, then it's the one I played. Amazing Bass!!! I was there January 4th and I met Kevin and Alex. Both great guys and super helpful. I tried that bass because I hope to finally become a Sadowsky owner by the end of this year. I want the same color and wood combo except I prefer white binding and pearl blocks. That bass was probably the best bass I ever had my hands on! Enjoy it!!!

P.S. I did walk out of the shop with a new porta gig bag and a neo strap.

Ok Guys, Last night I used my new (to me) seafoam green metro for the first time with the band . I'm really impress. The bass feel just like any of my NYCs. The construction is topnotch. Sound wise the bass sound a little different from the others but in a very good way. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe its the non chamber body. I think the sound was a little closer to a old Fender jazz but with a touch of Sadowsky of coarse.

I was going to put some single in this bass but now I'm reconsidering.

Anyway, this bass is amazing. So much Mojo.

Steve, I will never get why you sold this beast. It plays like butta.

I think I will have to get me a couple of Metros in place of one NYC.

Ya, but you play those basses with the 'extra' string on them...:hiding:

I experience this before. I'm a 4 string J bass kind a guy and wanted a P bass to get the sound. I also heard that the fat neck of the P is helping making the sound.
So I bought a P bass with the fat neck and I never liked it. It ended up never being played. It was too foreign to my hands.

Now if you are a five strings guy then it does not matter anymore because you have the meat anyway.

Go with the J neck. Sound wise, you'll never hear the difference.

Those sweet words we love to see:
"On FedEx vehicle for delivery"

And then there are the ones that make me wanna :bawl: :
"Delivery exception"

Nobody was home. They usually don't deliver until later in the afternoon, so I had hope that either my wife or I would be home around 3pm. I hope they retry today or I'm bummed.

Edit: I can either pick up tomorrow at the hub in BFE or wait for two more tries. So, Saturday at the latest.

Was it a Sadowsky P? The P neck on my Sadowsky is very confortable unlike other Ps I've played.
