Club Sadowsky!!!

A little trick you can try is getting some pickguard screw and cut the heads off (). Then tack the pickguard down with some double-sided tape after you superglue the screw head to the pickguard. That way you don't have to drill the top of your bass.

I think that this Standard looks SMOKIN'

Yeah, that one is killing (jwbassman) and so is Nenor's.

I was thinking about that too besides doing the drilling. Plus, I could totally handle doing that myself, whereas I don't think I'd feel comfortable drilling a "new" bass.

IMHO, the solution for that bass would be a transparent ramp at the neck heel, shaped to your liking, and held on by a few small pieces of adhesive tape (so no screw holes).

Hmm, that's a thought too. Wouldn't you see the tape tho'?

Hey,

If you guys didn't get a chance to catch Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday Night, Randy Jackson was set-up for an interview, and to (Kinda) sit in with the House Band (The Roots)...

So I was nice enough to lend Randy MY Vintage 5 Buckeye Burl.

Here's a Link...

It starts at about 27 Minutes. {but there is also a nice opening scene with my bass in front of the drum Kit.}

A little overdriven Tone wise (he actually had the Treble Boosted full!!), but still kinda cool!

Anyone know how to get stills from Video?

Rob

That's cool Rob...Now you can start the "Pants on the Ground" club ;)

Hey Rob,

I have to ask what others may have also been wondering... did the zipper on Randy's jacket damage the back of your bass?

First thing I thought of too. I'm not remotely precious with my own stuff, but if I'd *borrowed* a bass like that I'd take my ******* coat off.

I noticed when He first straps on the Bass he's says "OOP's" (and hits the headstock on the Mic in front of him,) and my first thought was He left his Jacket on??

Actually,No..... I had put our clear static cling protector on the back of the bass...and while that was all scratched up, underneath was Perfect!
