Club Sadowsky!!!

Alright - my bass is coming together. I need to make the definitive call: What do you guys think? Tort or Clear?

Note: Those aren't the actual guards... so they don't fit correctly in the photos. They are just to give a general idea before the actual guard is cut.

Clear is tempting, but tort looks great over quilt/burst, IMHO.

you are already spending a buck in the bass why not just order both, what is a little more :)

Man, I gotta' +1 this.

As much as it is a shame to cover that figured wood, I've just always thought a clear guard looked a little odd, and I do think the tort guard on a figured burst like that looks really great.

Again, here's mine for reference as well...

Good move. My guitarist is still playing Pauls. When I showed him this though he got interested. He immediately zeroed in on the pups. The truth is both Fender and Gibson got it right the first time around. All of the boutique makers are just refining.

:D I'll get about 30 minutes or so on it before taking my wife out to dinner. After, kinda hope not. :ninja:

But have two services Sunday. So no later than Sunday. Outta here!!!
Yeah, definitely the WIFE COMES FIRST! I totally get that. :)

P.S. All you guys (especially you, mikebass) let my comment go... you don't wanna' go there... ;)
