Club Sadowsky!!!

Just got off the phone with Basscentral. I have a shiny new Sadowsky Metro coming my way!

It looks just like this:

I may just swap the pg for a b/w/b one.

This will be my first Sadowsky 5er. Needless to say, I'm stoked!

It was my experience when I bought my Metro RV5-PJ a couple of weeks ago, that the Bass Central guys were really nice to work with.

+1

It was my first time ever buying anything from Basscentral and I will definately be buying from them again. Beaver and Ed were both super nice guys.

I'd like to hear that boost control. I can't imagine wanting to boost at 800hz on a Sadowsky:eek: 400hz... that's always been in the 'nasal' area for me. I don't quite get it, but I guess Will digs it. Curious. I just can't quite imagine those frequencies boosted on these basses.

Funny maybe we should start a Bass Central thread. I saw Ed yesterday he helped me carry out a few other things I purchased. I've been dealing with BC for about 8 years and they are a pleasure to do business. They even bought me lunch.

HI

Congrats Paul on the WL. Told ya. Great instruments. Love mine. Will compliment your VW nicely.

BTW, the koa WL on the update page is off the charts. Def would have bought it if not already with my own WL

Hey Rob,
Thanks looking forward to gigging with it on Thursday.

KOA WL I knew that bass was becoming available and was thinking about purchasing it yesterday when I was on the phone with Rob before I left for BC. It was just more then I could afford. I'm sure it's not going to last.

HI

Cool, Paul. My WL is like yours. Ash/maple which I love. The koa bass is alder/braz which I usually dont care for. But there was something fantastic about that bass. Sounded perfect with the 3 band activated and the neck felt absolutely part of my hand. Wouldnt be my first choice esthetically but it played and sounded unmatched

"Nasal" is most decidedly NOT a word I would use to describe the mid-boost on a WL.

I love the mid-boost feature on my Will Lee. It is very useful for cutting through a little more when you need to. I also LOVE what it does to harmonics....they really project well when the mid-boost is engaged. I wouldn't describe it as nasal sounding in the least.

I am glad to have the added feature of the mid-boost. It's not something that I will use all the time.....but it's real nice to have it.

I am enjoying my Will Lee!
