Club Sadowsky!!!

Please, please, never say that again, unless you're talking to a hot chick, ok? ;) :D

hot chicks are way out of my price range :rollno:

At least that's what my wife says :D

anyway, I'm very happy with the 'pairs' I have at home

and the other ;)

Thanks Fran, I didn't realize the order in which the routing was done made a difference.

Permit me to explain..... If you put a P pickup in it's normal location on a J-bass, the treble coil will break the edge of the pickguard on the bridge side edge. So when we do a PJ, we make a pickguard that is about 1/2" longer on the bridge side and position the control plate a little farther down as well.

So...we could add a P to J, but it would have to be moved about 1/2" closer to the neck than normal. And that is something I don't want to do.

Isnt there one of you that is sick of a NYC Ash/Maple VJ5 in 59 Burst? Well if you get sick of one or want to try a different wood combo, need to sell or are looking for an MTD 535 (in Classifieds) Please let me know.
Hey, do what I do, throw all sensibility to the dogs, keep the 535 and just order a new Sadowsky. :)

Your right. Thats what I should do. But my problem is I would have to have the very best top and a BE maple board and every other upgrade and my wife wouldnt be proud of me when it came time to pay up. Maybe I could get a second job. Or maybe I could get her a second job. Hey she could probably pickup enough aluminum cans in six to nine months to pay for it. I would feel so special if she would do that for me.

Here's my latest two NYC's.......a Will Lee and a JJ5. I am really glad to add them to my Sadowsky family!!:hyper: Hope to have better pics taken by something other than my blackberry soon! It's nice having these twins in the house!

I've got the coolest wife! For my birthday she just ordered me a new portabag! Way cool!!

Hey, in 6-9 months, anyone can figure out a way to put 4k together. :)

So I'm driving home from the airport right now. It's 12:30 am and I won't get to bed untill 2:00. I missed my wife's birthday and haven't seen my kids in ten days BUT my new Sadowsky is waiting for me at the shop.

Do I A) Get up early and go to Brooklyn or B) Sleep in then spend the day with my family?

That answers a question I've had in the back of my mind for awhile. Thank you Roger.

Get up late, take the family into Brooklyn with you to get the bass, then take them out somewhere fun (lock up the bass first of course)!....
