I came pretty close to grabbing that as well. I've had this crazy idea about getting a 4-string as for one of my gigs and even though a PJ would be the "right choice" for me, that bass seriously called out to me. Congrats on the buy...

Mr. articreef, congrats on your Sadowsky! You will not be disappointed, just be aware they are habit forming. I have been in re-hab know for the better part of a year. Not really!
I would please also like to request a club number as well.
Could I become a member eventhough it won´t be delivered until next week?

Anyone uses flats on their ash/maple J?
I had a used (almost new) TI JF344 set lying around so I thought I'd give them a try with my MV4. Wow! what a sound. they're not going to come off anytime soon.
Here's my Trans white 4 string Metro, alder/rosewood HPJ, and loving it!
If this only had one more string it would have been mine....

Man, It kills me to do this, but I am going to put this one
up for sale this weekend, I just wanted to give our club members
a heads up before hand.
The bass is only 4 months old and has only left the house one time for
a demo get together. It is in brand new condition with no issues at all.
I was playing for a wedding agency out of NYC, and was paid by checks
but I never received a 1099 at the end of the year, so now 4 years later
uncle Sam is looking for his cut.... the moral of the story is, any of you that get paid by check be sure to get a 1099 with your SS# on it so that you can write off as much as possible so that you don't have to pay income tax.... I now owe 5300 bucks including penaltiesthe kicker is I have to pay first before I can file an appeal.

M2079, no VTC...
Maybe not as high of a priority with alder/rw vs ash/maple, but I would still strongly recommend you get a VTC installed. The good news is, he sells the mod separately for a good price, and ANY guitar tech can install it, so it should not be a lot of money to add. With a boost only preamp like Sadowsky basses have, I can't imagine not having the VTC installed. While I don't use mine all the time, and when I do, it's by varying amounts, I do use it very regularly and can't imagine not having it.
