Club Sadowsky!!!

you're welcome. It's a real pleasure to serve our 'comunity' of Sadowsky nuts. :D

One question for you and the other members:
What should we do with the numbers (and members) that got rid of their Sadowsky gear? I think that using those numbers for new members alters the chronological order. Is it fine if I just mark them as "deceased" :D
What I do in my clubs is leave their numbers as is. "Once you're a Jet you're always a Jet". :) Less management for something as silly as these clubs anyway, and hey, at least they were owners at one point, so that should still count for something. :)

GREAT STUFF! :hyper:

I'm nowhere near the class of your shop, but I do some decent setup work, and I learned some cool things from this video.

Also, and I hope it's ok to post this here, but I've always been curious about the chambering design in your bodies, which was shown in the video. It's really cool. I have one question. Are the bridge screws between chamber slots or in front of them? I can't quite tell for sure from the picture.

That video was awesome. It was really informative and shows why these instruments are so great. That spalted maple jazz was just beautiful too.
Agreed! Not only does it do a GREAT job of explaining in detail why us Sadowsky nuts are Sadowsky nuts (like tommixx says), but I also really appreciated how totally open he is with all this interesting and educational information he basically spent his entire career developing. :)

Roger is awesome.

Sounds good to me, but I actually "recycled a few numbers for some guys.
It's your call.
"deceased"....Now that is pretty funny!!:D

A Sadowskyholics support group, that's what you guys need!
That is to support your addictive habits - as opposed to suppress them :bassist:

I'm just beginning developing the symptoms here. AND I LIKE IT! :p

+1. Also a good place to point people who keep asking about the tone of the 24F5.

Gonna have to visit in person to select Sadowsky #2. Hopefully next year :).

Later
Rob

I loved the video, and am grateful that the links to it were posted here. Now that's what I call a Club!

Every single topic discussed was so well presented, and with great openness. What an artist and fine teacher. Thank you, Roger! :hyper:

Joe Darcy, of Behind The Notes, did a great job with this interview. Regarding the photo of the chambered body, that is a guitar body, not a bass. The bass body is solid in the bridge area.

Never was a believer in "trade secrets". There is nothing to hide. It is always a pleasure to share whatever I have learned during the last 36 years of guitar making. Especially with the Sadowsky nuts on Talkbass. I appreciate every one of you. Thanks for your support.
