J-body or P-body?? Now, that is the question. Any noticeable diff (tone, weight, feel, etc.) in the two shapes in 5-string P/J?? Chime in folks!
I notice a BIG difference in how the two feel hanging on your body. I personally think the off-set waist of the J design is Leo's true gift to the bass community. They just seem to ride on your body more comfortably.
Others prefer the P for the same reason. I guess a lot of it has to do with your body type. If you are as petite as you appear in your photos, I don't know which would be better. Of course, it should come down to preference without regard to any of those issues.
In terms of weight, I don't think it would favor one of the other. Sadowsky tends to to stay within their weight target with all designs.
You might even consider a Vintage 24F PJ. They almost always tend to come in a touch lighter. It may be the slighter smaller body. My Modern 24 is ridiculously light. It's well under 8 pounds.

More "traditional" colours with or without matching head stock = P body for me.

The Sadowsky KILLED on every song.
I certainly notice a difference in feel in how it hangs on me. Plus visually I happen to prefer the p shape. That and it makes it more of the super charged uber phase of my dreams!
I shall take the "hang" factor into consideration!
Personally I think P basses hang better on women than J basses do, in general. That upper horn tends to get in the way on a full-sized J.

I have the older model, and now also the Access Stage 5, which I think is basically the same thing. Both are fantastic soft cases and my current faves.
