Cocky "musicians" in the Audience.

I own a frankenstein P-bass with a Telecaster bass neck, and it plays beautifully. It's the only Fender bass I've ever picked up and liked except for a Squire Vintage reissue fretless that I'm still kicking myself for not buying.

Fenders generally do NOT do it for me at all. I don't like the way they play, the way they sound, think they're boring and uncreative instruments, and think they're overpriced.

I had one idiot ask me as I'm holding my Warwick Thumb 5er if I ever tried a MIA Jazz bass. I just rolled my eyes. "Yes, of course, you idiot, I've tried them. That's why I play a Warwick," is my general response.

I didn't actually say that ever to anyone. When I'm holding a a $2000 bass, and you imply that a $1000 bass may be a better bass, well, I just have to roll my eyes.

I really don't have issues with Fender, and can appreciate a nice one as well as anyone. I generally prefer to spend my money on other basses. That's really all.

This is my MIM Fender jazz... and although I hate my other MIM jazz, THIS one is exquisite and I love it to friggin pieces... and if you ask me, it looks plenty badass for its price! :)

I was sharing the bill with four other bands at a local bar. One bands bassist came up to me said "You aint ****. You don't play Fender or Rickenbacker...the trwo things that can make a man a bassist."

Later he got stupid drunk and spilled a beer down the pick ups of his 4003 Ric

I work as a civil service machinist for the Navy in our depot's jet engine division. It doesn't take much to get me talking about aircraft.

Mind if I ask which branch of the service you're in? I work on a lot of Air Force TF-34 components for the A-10 in addition to all the Navy stuff.

I was also once voted "most intellectual" in school.

If I wasn't so much older than you, we might be perfect for each other. Ah, to be young again.

Very nice, I love the Warthog! One of my favorite photography subjects behind the happy F-16.

I am currently Army... armament/avionics/sighting/electronics on AH-64D's. Will be out very shortly though (medical retirement), and back into college again! Planning on doing the flight surgeon thing for the Air Force. :)

PS- First video of the catapulted F-35 is out... very interesting indeed! :)
