That's very nice indeed.

Jordache, the Darryl Jones is also available in 5 string configuration and there are some for sale in the TB classfieds.

This I know, but Im a maple only guy. :atoz:

And since when is my username French? ;)

Yo, right here bro!!!

... Im a maple guy... except for that... :D

But its FT only, and Im definitely not getting rid of the Ged.. Its my near perfect bass, just not a 5er (Which Im still experimenting with), and only 21 frets.. Im really wanting a 22 fret Jazz.

$1650 is cheaper than I was expecting, but if I could pull off a Sadowsky for sub-$1400.. I would love it.

Well, here we are, just about 1 week away from the gtg. For those interested, I will be bringing the actual paper list that I started writing when we hit member #10 for the OBC. On deck with me will be my rampage 100 combo, '65 gibson eb-0, yamaha rbx374, and my 2k8 mim P. Also, if anyone wants a set of eb slinky's I have a set that I've been trying to get rid of for 2 years now.

I'm sure that this will be a great event that everyone who attends wants to remember, so remember to bring your cameras, along with adequate amt's of batteries and memory cards (or film if applicable), to make sure you get anything recorded for posterity.

By the way, has anyone informed Uncletoad about this GTG? Anyway, see all of you next week.

I'm getting ready to make a list of all the snacks and drinks people suggested, so if you want to add something last-minute, let me know. Otherwise, reeeeally looking forward to it!

EDIT: So far I have the following on my list for snacks/drinks:
Drinks: Mtn Dew Code Red, Dr. Pepper, A&W Cream Soda (for Jordan...lol), Diet Mtn Dew
Snacks: Cheez Its, Doritos, Oreos

I can probably do that. How many should I get?

I'm going to try and get mainly cans and or bottles for as many drinks as I can to cut down on the number of cups needed.... maybe a small pack (whatever that is...lol). Small pack of plates... I think you can get them in packs of 50-100 for pretty cheap. Maybe a roll of paper towels would work rather than individual napkins. I dunno, looks like there's gonna be ~30 or so people there, so whatever that adds up to!

What kind? I like the orange cream stuff from time to time.

I just threw up a bit.. One of the only SoBes I dont like.. If its one of the thicker, creamy looking Sobes, keep it far, far away!

But things like the SoBe Energy (citrus) and the SoBe Power (fruit punch), now were talkin! Yummzzz... But as long as it isnt the creamy kind of SoBe, Ill probably drink it, but those two are shizzle!

Well, maybe I'll be coming to this thing high on some good news. Have a job interview coming up for a position that will more than triple my income! Trying not to get my hopes up, but I'm definietly getting psyched for this interview!

Maybe my amp dying today is a sign that I'll soon have the scratch for a new and much better rig?
Older SWR Workingman's combo. I think the output transformer finally gave out. I've been waiting for it to happen for a while now. Bummer. :atoz:

On a side note, I notice there's no Code Red shortage up here in Mount Vernon...not that I drink the stuff.

Wow! Youre going to go from $70 a year to $210!? Holy! :D

Good luck with your interview, Im psyched for you. Hopefully Ill get the privilege someday! I wouldnt mind making 3x my annual pay, which is $10 a week allowance, and paychecks dependent upon when work needs me.

But its gets me what I want, most of the time! Good luck Papa!
