I always liked that Jeff Beck cover, knowing he'd rather be working on cars, than making an album (Jeff Beck car [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] on Grammy dot com).
I especially like the twisted whammy bar lying on the floor.I always liked that Jeff Beck cover, knowing he'd rather be working on cars, than making an album (Jeff Beck car [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] on Grammy dot com).
I kind of wish I had a slot in my entertainment shelf for a wax player.
There must to be a used record store somewhere around you...I live in a teeny town in NY and I have a half dozen used records shop around me and not just flea market type places either. Prices of used records at these shops go anywhere from pennies to upward of $100.I miss going into the record shops and seeing all the full-size albums on vinyl. You can find them now at some shops, but they're not all up on full display like they used to be. The ones I've seen are all in one big stack.
There are a few on display at GC, but it's a limited selection and they're overpriced. I kind of wish I had a slot in my entertainment shelf for a wax player.

I miss it too, but I still have a lot of old records and even a few bran new ones, and got my ancient Garrard record changer repaired so I can stack 'em up and play a bunch at a time. This was my dad's record player, probably before I was born.
I used to have Styx's Paradise Theater album, complete with laser-etched disk, which was a big deal to get back in the day, but I lost it somewhere along the way.
