why don't they play QOTSA in Detroit? That would suck cuz I'm a huge fan. Saw them when they came through Toronto recently and I just saw EODM last Friday. It was total awesomeness, in a can (cuz that way it stays fresher). Joey was playing drums for EODM and he was incredible to watch.

Anywho, back to the thread.

Your wish is granted and the Detroit radio stations collectively take their heads outta their arses and play QOTSA 24/7 mixed with some EODM and Foos for good measure. Oh, need something bad for this ..... you ummmmm ..... get a slight ringing in your ears for just crankin the tunes too loud for too long. No permanent damage results from this though.

They never play EODM or QOTSA. All they play is crap like Hinder and Theory of a Dead Man. All the rock they play sounds the same. Industry polished bulls**t. The radio only play crappy mainstream, to which i think is redarded due to the fact that QOTSA have been around far longer than any band they play now, save for the few Sabbath and Floyd tracks.

Even when they have requests coming in, they don't play it. They just say "I'll see what i can do" and forget about it. It sucks. I'm pissed.
