Re the Blind Faith cover:

Well, parent's permission is obviously required, as a minor can't consent to nude photos in any context.

It's the use of the photo is key; here, I think it's art and not exploitation, cutting edge tho' it is.

When I look at that pic, I find it interesting and unusual in breaking the taboos that apparently so disturb some here of portraying an adolescent in the nude. And the model plane is almost funny.

I do not have a prurient interest, however.

I reckon it's the old Justice Potter Stewart definition of porn at play.

I don't see it on that album cover, tho' some of you might.

BTW, the explanation on wiki of the U2 cover on Songs of Innocence (I showed above) is excellent, spot on, and relevant, I think, to the Blind Faith cover, also - it seems to be a portrayal of issues of innocence ...

... or just a nekkid bid for publicity thru controversy. :D
