Wilser i must say you make my 3 years of photography experience go to shame with that talent and skill!

i believe i said that once before as well haha, amazing amazing pictures, but honestly the subject is wayy sexier, only a bass with a finish that impeccable can be photographed at such close range. rudy you are one lucky gun!!

Yeah...I can't believe Wilser has outdone himself again! How in the world does he do it?...I don't know. Considering he does this Part-Time...his workmanship and work ethics are unbelievable. He's got some skills man! :hyper: Besides that, he's truly a pleasant guy to deal with.

If anybody has doubts about (Wilser's) work...all you need to do is check out his website and check his previously completed projects. :smug:

Once I get the bass in my hands...I will post a full-on review!

Why, thank you very much! I'm kind of a photo buff. I was intrigued while discussing the technical aspecs of it during the photo shoot for my wedding (a bad initial sign for my wife of things to come :D). She bought me my first SLR for our 6 month anniversary and I have been spending money on equipment and shooting everything. 8 years now. I reluctantly gave up my canon EOS system (analog) when it became increasingly difficult to find a good slide lab, so I'm now on the 4/3 system with a Pana L1 that famous Leica/Pana zoom and a couple of olympus primes. These last pics were taken with the Oly 50mm f/2.0 macro lens. It's a freaking awesome piece of optics!

Cool pics! You should write a tutorial on picture taking, I need all of the help I can get. I think my problem is mostly my camera. (SURE!)

yeah, that would be cool, but unfortunately, photography is one of those things where equipment is important. Sure, the creative eye of the photographer is a must for composition, exposure, subject selection, etc, but there is only so much you can do by the time your equipment starts limiting you. Just as an example, those pics would not be possible without a wide aperture 1:1 macro lens, which is not the same as the 'macro mode' on most digital point-and-shoot cameras, and getting to see THROUGH the lens (what SLR is) also is not the same as looking at that little screen on the consumer digitals.

Most of you could probably pretty much tell when the pics I post were taken with my 'pro-sumer' Canon S80 or the Digi-SLR setup.
