Custom Bass Wait Support Group Needed!!!

I'm sooo nearly outta here. :smug:

Got a phone call from Martin this afternoon to check what gauge strings I want. He reckons he will have finished the bass by close of play today (if he wasn't distracted).

He wants the bass to settle over the weekend and for me to call him on Tuesday to arrange collection. :D :D :D

come on....

\tulipwood is multicolored, madrona is pink but nitros and eurathanes to red.
steamed swiss pear is a very dull shade of tan/pink and yes mr technical it does vary from tree to tree but
I think the guys here know that.

do you really think I dont have this stuff? or a degree in it?
the dyed holly would have been the way to go for pink but he is past that now anyways.

OK bebnesee debacle aside.

I am moving on with # 3 in the support group
1.)my camatillo stambaugh
2.)My divinity redwood ocean lace oracle
and now this:

the LEJ of a lifetime.

black stained quilt maple on a maple body, wenge neck
Lace sheoak pickguard (glued on) and lace sheoak block inlays and binding
with a circle of life inlay

you daffy bastich! that post was from when I was waiting for my 10! Bill's working on a new axe for me and I'm hoping it'll be ready when I head into the studio next month.

and I think it's safe to say that both the homespun grub and the Coop would be here should you opt to trek EAST!!

That is too cool! Is the LEJ going to be built through Divinity or something? I didn't think The Low End basses went as custom as that (though obviously Brian and Chris are capable of just about anything).

And I really can't wait to see your next Stambaugh come to life. That design is just awesome :D
