UPDATE!

After 7 days of treatment.

Much more balanced, fat bottom, sweet tone and way better response. Check the growl that kicked in on Teen Town.

The sustain is already incredible after 7 days, added a long-note melody at the end.

Here the two files for comparison.

Notice that it makes no reference to attaching it to a guitar. It's intended only for listening to music. Here's one on Amazon that does the exact same thing for less than a quarter of the price:

If anyone wants, I would spend 22 bucks on that Amazon unit (free 2nd day prime shipping), and put it for a week on the infamous Rastaburst and let everyone know if it actually does anything perceivable.

You know ... I am going to get one of those mechanical fart noise makers and strap it to my basses and run it 24/7 ... which should be interesting with 15 basses ... My basement will sound like an scene from blazing saddles ... I am thinking the full spectrum brown noise from the fart machine should give the basses a real earthy tone ...

I showed this to my wife who is a talented singer and keyboard player ... she also heard no difference in the before and after ...

I don't get why a guy (the OP) who has obviously put a lot of time into his playing would want to make a whole community of other bassists think he's nuts for believing in a magic vibrator box that transforms ok basses into fantastic basses. If it is a big joke, I have to wonder if most of talkbass might lose interest in this thread and write him off as a little bit nuts before the joke is finally revealed. Definitely not something I would want people to think about me, but whatever the case, I don't hear even the tiniest bit of difference in timbre in his sound clips.
