That came out the wrong way, not at all what I meant so I took out the eraser.


Mike, it means you can edit in all forums. In reality it means people give you **** in all forums, not just the ones you take care of regularly. The Amps forum is the one that is consistently most 'challenging'. I use up a lot of perfectly good window cleaner getting the mud off off the windows when it could be put to better uses around here.

Thor, I can't imagine the amount of... um, stuff you deal with as a mod at a forum this big. The drum forum I'm a mod at is about as big as CWB is. (The whole forum) Meaning that it has about this many regulars and we all know and care about each other. It gets a little colorful on occasion, generally regarding unimportant issues like sports. (The drum forum is based in the UK and has people all over the globe.) Other than that, it is easily policed.

I visit the rest of talkbass, but the small group here is where I prefer to post and hang with my friends. It's very comfortable here, thanks for keeping it so.

I really appreciate what you do here more than you can imagine.

I am a mod at a drum forum that I've belonged to for more than five years. It's a small forum but we pride ourselves on helping newer drummers and being friendly. When I decided to get serious about the bass it made sense to look for a bass forum to help me along. I joined on January 10th 2011 and became a supporting member as soon as I realized that was possible.

TB in general has helped me greatly with my growth as a bassist.

And then there is CWB... I stumbled on the first thread early on and have been here ever since. I have been more vocal at times and less vocal others, but I'm always here. The group on here has been incredibly supportive of me during the toughest time in my life. I can't find words to tell you all how much that means.

Thanks for accepting this drummer/wannabe bassist into your fold. (You are all stuck with me.)

The Amps forum is great. It's like amps are the women we love and we all fight to the death over them. :cool:

Snow here in the Hudson Valley. Off to the recording studio to finish our four new demo cuts. :bassist:
