Thanks BassGen :) and thank you too Passive, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's funny, sometimes I really get into the song and I forget I'm playing bass and completely lose my thread! Hoping that as I get more experience that will stop happening and be able to go completely on autopilot.
Sorry about the lack of @ss shots hahaha, so next time, I have to wear my hat and play with my rear to the camera :D
I'm going to assume that I get to wear more than just the cowboy hat?

I know it's somewhat embarrassing for you, but I also like when you get other things stuck to the window, too. :D

And then you get to come inside after that happens. :)

You sure about that? The Thumpketeers can be pretty demanding. And, if you somehow manage to resist, you might then be subjected to power of Passiv's pout. Legend says no man has ever escaped .....

It's nice to be out giging again. I have a gig with my other acoustic project next Wednesday, so I'm back in the saddle again.

So, had my band audition yesterday. -_-

DID NOT GO WELL. I got a ride from the vocalist, who ended up getting us lost and over an hour late for the practice. He proceeded to do absolutely nothing (this includes helping everyone unload and load gear) and just stood around texting. The band itself was supposed to be a very post-hardcore meets 80's thrash type of thing, but really just felt like an alternative metal or hard rock band. I did have fun, but they mis-represented themselves in such a way that I really don't want to make music with them.

The kicker? According to another person I know, the vocalist was 1) planning on picking another bass player over me, just because he thought that guy listens to better bands and
2) is a pedophile, and made her have sex with him.

I'm never using craigslist again.

Sorry honey - I was in a bit of a funk last night. After work I went to a going away party - two of my long-time co-workers left the company this week, and I went to the after work happy hour - that lasted until well after 11:00 PM. It was hard to see them go. I didn't sleep well after that, and then woke up with a nasty migraine. I'm still feeling a little off today.
