CWB 12 - The Dirty Dozen

Tonight's gig went well, especially when you consider it's been two months since we played out. We ended up having some musician friends come to see us for the first time and they seemed to enjoy it. It's nice to be out giging again. I have a gig with my other acoustic project next Wednesday, so I'm back in the saddle again.

Holy crap, I haven't heard that song in DECADES and, for some reason I can't figure out, it popped into my head a couple of days ago and has been stuck there ever since!

I got a big day coming up... :hyper: and taking off 3 days for myself. And just for me.
Jamband is shaping up. Another band is on the horizon too.

Wow, my ears must have been burning. You ask and here I am :confused:

Been getting back into the normal routine lately. Healed up nicely from the surgery, putting some weight back on, and glad as heck to be back at work.
Sorry to hear about your rough week. 3 days to right the ship sounds like a fine idea. Hope ya get back to better days.

I am a mod at a drum forum that I've belonged to for more than five years. It's a small forum but we pride ourselves on helping newer drummers and being friendly. When I decided to get serious about the bass it made sense to look for a bass forum to help me along. I joined on January 10th 2011 and became a supporting member as soon as I realized that was possible.

TB in general has helped me greatly with my growth as a bassist.

And then there is CWB... I stumbled on the first thread early on and have been here ever since. I have been more vocal at times and less vocal others, but I'm always here. The group on here has been incredibly supportive of me during the toughest time in my life. I can't find words to tell you all how much that means.

Thanks for accepting this drummer/wannabe bassist into your fold. (You are all stuck with me.)
