PA, that bass is gorgeous! I've never had a completely custom bass built before and don't know if I ever will, but I'll certainly live vicariously through yours (though you might want to clean it after I "live vicariously" )

yeah, the Thumpketeers have abandoned us, so I'm getting focused on the music for the weekend.

Saturday, back in the recording studio with the Vague Assurances, to finish up four more cuts, including two originals. I'll post results here when they're ready. It's a really nice studio, here it is:

Then, Sunday night, gig with jazz guitarist Steve Gravino at a local restaurant, on the fretless. Steve is kind of the dean of guitar teachers in the area, so the audience, while not large, is a lot of his former students and very knowledgeable. It's a fun gig and gets me out with the fretless. Unfortunately, mrs c3 can't make it up to the Hudson Valley for the weekend. It would be nice to have a Thumpketeer around but there is a girl up there (girl = 46) who's good company. No, just good company.

Thinking ahead and being planful is a great quality. I'm slightly less prepared. I'm more likely to be the one who drops my toothbrush in the toilet while trying to simulataneously brush my teeth, dry my hair and put on mascara. Then, I would have to steal hubby's toothbrush!

This is me too. I've dropped way too many things in the toilet...way more than one person should in a lifetime.
Then there's usually like a Walmart within 15 miles or so of whatever destination I'm heading to, so I'm like, "well, I'll buy it when I get there."
