PA, that is freaking gorgeous (like's it owner!). Can't wait to see how it sounds.

wow, PA, congrats - that's beautiful. :bassist:

PA, that bass is gorgeous! I've never had a completely custom bass built before and don't know if I ever will, but I'll certainly live vicariously through yours (though you might want to clean it after I "live vicariously" ;) )

I'm so jealous! That is an absolutely stunning bass.

Nice, enjoy! Beautiful bass!

That looks great. Have a fantastic time with it.

Awesome!!! So excited for you! :p

Thanks, all. I'll be sure to post some CWB pics after I get it. :bassist::hyper:

Thanks. If only Skype had a "touch" feature...

That would also add an interesting dimension to our CWB parties. :D

I'm just getting into skype. Jackie's 14 year old niece in southern California just took up the bass a few months ago. I've helped her with basics of the instrument and got her started via skype. I also use it to keep in touch with my old Florida and Maryland friends.

It's def. very handy for bass lessons. Some people use it for other purposes. That's why Dave has to keep the bottle of Windex next to his computer, he's always getting the screen all sticky.:hiding:

I *knew* you were good. That's something only the best of the best stalkers would be able to prove in court.

Today marks 13 months that I've been here on TB and there 13 months since I got serious about being a bassist. I missed the one year anniversary as my mind was preoccupied.

I am a mod at a drum forum that I've belonged to for more than five years. It's a small forum but we pride ourselves on helping newer drummers and being friendly. When I decided to get serious about the bass it made sense to look for a bass forum to help me along. I joined on January 10th 2011 and became a supporting member as soon as I realized that was possible.

TB in general has helped me greatly with my growth as a bassist.

And then there is CWB... I stumbled on the first thread early on and have been here ever since. I have been more vocal at times and less vocal others, but I'm always here. The group on here has been incredibly supportive of me during the toughest time in my life. I can't find words to tell you all how much that means.

Thanks for accepting this drummer/wannabe bassist into your fold. (You are all stuck with me.)
