Why do you have the drums on the stripper stage in front of the living room window? Don't you know they'll get in the way of inverts and spins? Garage! Garage, I say!
lol...sadly, the pole is firmly anchored in the garage...although I did get a pretty good crash pad...
I'm going to build it for me though, not the drums. I'll just sit in it and smile while chaos ensues around me.

I need to get a computer in the "bass-ment". But I could get you into some rudiments, how to hold the sticks, etc from my desk.

It's probably better that way. If you lost your grip on a spin or invert and went tumbling out the front window onto the lawn, it might cause a disturbance in your neighborhood.
Nothing worse than my neighbors have done.
They probably wouldn't even bat an eye...lol...just come over and help me clean up my window.
Ahhhh....last coat of paint in there for the night. And all that's left to do with a paintbrush is baseboards and mouldings. Those are tomorrow night. YAY! Flooring on Saturday.

NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!!!! Not only do you know how to work a pole (that sounds even dirtier than I intended!
), but playing bass and now drums you'll be able to record your own grooves to play while you're in the garage twirling, inverting, etc.! 
I haven't touched a drum set in years (took lessons over thirty years...... uh ... a LONG time ago!
) but I'd love to have a kit to put down in the basement. It'd be a hell of a lot of fun, it would be better for recording (I'm pretty good at programming realistic sounding drum patterns, but there's NOTHING like a real kit!), and it would be a great workout.Someday .....

Electronic Roland Set
Very nice kits to the both of you. I personally have a set of vintage Ludwig Vistalites in blue. My snare is a Ludwig Rocker from the same period. The heads haven't been changed since the 80's I believe, and the Zildjians are from around the same period, maybe slightly newer. I purchased the kit (for the studio) for practically nothing from a drummer who was having financial troubles. I love them, so boomy. I was going to sell it to fund my hike, but they're too unique. They're going to a good friend for safekeeping.
