Hi everyone. Just a quick checking after catching up. Mike, I hope everything turns out well, and thoughts are headed your way. Tat, Nice room remodel. Can I hire you to redo my garage/bass room! Furry, I hope Florida is aware of the events that are heading their way. A perfect storm is brewing when two heavenly bodies join up. Five bucks says Jim Cantorie is there to cover the event!

Reading the exchange with Mule and Dave have me GAS-ing for a new amp, but I really have no complaints with my Acoustic.

With the advent of spring here in Cheeseland, my eye continues to peruse CL looking for this years $20 bass rediscover project. Mrs Wacko just shakes her head......

Have a great day everyone!!!!!

Sure - you can hire me to remodel your bass-room. But I come at a price. I'll toss the whining in for free. ;)

How much space do I have to work with? I'll bet I could give you a room that would be the envy of all your local bands.

Does that mean that shortly after FM's arrival we'll be receiving packages filled with awesome gifts of fine jewelry to model while under surveillance? That would be the best stalker scenario EVER. :D

I can neither confirm nor deny anything, but you and Furry may be launching a two-sided, velociraptor-like attack on your unsuspecting UPS delivery guy.

Lucky guy, what a way to go! :D

I did quite a bit of messing around with my amp and sansamp bddi settings and decided to record something to get the opinions of the MoCWB and CWB.

Here is what I did: At the start of the song until after the first chorus, it is just my amp. I have the mids slightly boosted (150, 350, and 800 Hz) and all other EQ settings are flat. After the first chorus until a little bit into the solo, my SansAmp BDDI is active (it's running through the instrument input on the amp). All settings on the BDDI are 'flat' and the line setting is set to match the amp's gain knob. In my opinion, the SansAmp rounds out the bottom a bit when it is active. Anyways, have a listen (with headphones or good desktop speakers) and tell me which you prefer.

I listened. I loved it. (That's one of my favorite songs) I couldn't decide which part I liked more - therefore, my opinion is pretty much useless. LOL.

Have a great time! He was in Tampa on my birthday, but I took a pass since the tix were so expensive. I'm looking forward to hearing all about it!

What Tat said. And I'm looking forward to reports on the upcoming Tat-Furry tsunami that will hit Florida.

For myself, a lot of travel this week but also a lot of music. A special night tonight with c3 daughter and son-in-law involving classical music and really understanding music, ironically put in motion by c3 older son who's in South Africa on business and couldn't be here for it.

And looking forward to the weekend ... practices with the VAs and with a blues project not yet discussed here, then my monthly jazz gig on Sunday night. :bassist:

SoundCloud must be having some issues. Can't get it to load at all. Getting errors from SoundCloud, not your track.
