By the time noon arrived, he'd "dumped" me four times. And I was feeling four times more relieved and exponentially happier.
IF he calls back, remind him that he broke up 4 times, so there must be four apologies given by him, and accepted by you, BEFORE he can be forgiven. You can at least have a little amusement while he squirms

Yeah, I was up in the middle of the night getting my son to eat something before the deadline - he's having ear tubes put in today and couldn't eat past a certain time. Surgery's not til 4 this afternoon, so I thought that would help him not feel quite so hungry today.
Oh, forgot to tell ya'll. I picked up a 5 string Spector. Needed a 5-er for one of the bands I'm in. It's got a nice growl. Getting used to that B string isn't as tricky as I thought it would be. Chick with bass pics should be forthcoming soon.
PA, hope the shorty's surgery went well easy and fine.

this conversation just reminded me of something funny...
a friend and I were talking to a drunk one night, and he was telling a story about being hit with a taser.
My buddy looked at this drunk, with an absolutely straight face, and told him that if he stuck his thumb in his rectum, and put his pinky finger against a wall, he was grounded, and the taser could not hurt him...
by the end of the night, he had the kid convinced it would work
