I did not find the 'busas to be that great in corners. The longer wheel base made a tall rider (ME) feel more comfortable, but the shorter 600s could carve the twisties a lot better

OH, the hassling I would get, IF my friends saw me intelligently discussing which rice rocket cornered better...LOL

'Busas can handle..after you spend some money on the suspension.

I appreciate different types of bikes as well. My supermoto fulfills my need to scoot through the corners quickly. On the downside, doing an all-day ride renders my backside completely numb..it's like riding on a 2x6.

My wife rides as well..here are some shots from a track day that we did last October. Her bike is a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250.

that was back in my wilder days. That box, on the back was mounted on springs, and it was lined with fiberglass. It even had a drain valve at the bottom. It was an ice chest, and it was rarely ever empty (I was a corona drinker)

hope she recovered quickly

That happened back in October. She was bruised for a while. It didn't scare her from riding..or doing track days. She wants another go!

That must have been a scary thing to come around the corner to! Glad she was okay. What happened?

It was scary. She exited the track too quickly and didn't scrub off enough speed for that corner. She hit the debris that tends to collect there and went down. Thankfully, it was at relatively low speed and nobody was still on the track.
