when the community you live in is as small as mine, EVERYONE is special. Most of the people have been here for years, and many are third or forth generations in the area. Everyone knows your name, and watches out for you

I was sitting in the local store (in the deli area) having coffee one morning. My grandpa walked in and told me that he had locked my pickup, because someone he didn't know was looking at the rifle laying in my back seat. I was momentarily worried, because I had left my keys in the pickup. But gramps was smart enough to check for that, and handed me the keys...that is the only time my pickup has been locked here

If I lived where you live, would they think I'm special, too? Or just a little wackadoo?

Practice went well today. We ran through our setlist for this coming Saturday and have about 5 songs that we need to tweak a bit. All in all it sounds good IMO.

After practice as over and everyone had left except for me, the bandleader approached me and said that Kelly, our female singer, asked how "attached" he was to Richard, our rhythm guitarist. Richard has a great attitude, always shows up for practices, and works hard. Her reservations about him, I am assuming, is that at times he stumbles. He has improved quite a bit in the short time that he has been with us.

The BL asked me for my opinion. His opinion matches mine - we both like Richard and want him to stay. He is going to ask our drummer for his opinion. I have a feeling that she won't be back after our gig.

Newest member wants to change the band lineup? I can hear that thunder all the way in Florida.
