CWB: 23 TBD

Want to wish all the MoCWB that are fathers a very Happy Fathers Day (especially Jerry aka BayStateBass because of the recent episode with his son). I will toss down a shot of Jameson in honor of you all tomorrow night!

yeah, thanks - three great kids later, took 20+ years off from playing out to be a dad, but well worth it.

In other news, this fiver has been on Sadowsky's website for quite a while ... seems like no one wants it, except maybe me.

I haven't been feeling good for few days. Yesterday it got unbearable so I ended up at the emergency room. I have Cellulitis. I've had it before and it's not much fun.

I'm home with my feet up, on two different antibiotics and a painkiller. (And lots of Gatorade...)

Sorry to hear that Mike. I had it in my leg about 10 years ago, spent 2 weeks in hospital and off work for 2 months. Seems my body didn't like some of the antibiotics they used, kind of complicated things. The only upside was the last month I was off we took our trailer up to a mountain lake and I laid around there.

You take care of yourself and wishing you a speedy recovery.

I really like it, but I've always wanted to own an orange bass. (Thirty years of U-Haul brainwashed me...)

if someone had said, is orange a good color for a bass, I'd'a said no, but I like how this one looks. I may go play it. Sadowsky is not far from my office by subway.

feel better!

I think most any color can be good for a bass. It depends on the contrasting colors being tastefully done.

I hate seeing jazz basses with too many mismatched parts. When you have the headstock a natural wood, the fretboard another color wood, the pickguard one color the body another, and the control cover chrome, it starts looking like a low budget parts bass

this is an old pic of my own orange bass

It's been two days since I hit the emergency room. I've been following doctor's orders, staying off of my feet, plenty of fluids and have been on my meds as directed.

It hasn't spread further, but it hasn't backed off either. As a matter of fact it looks a good bit angrier and the pain has increased. I have a call into my doctor as I need a follow up appointment anyway. I won't be surprised if he sends me back to the ER. If he does, they'll likely admit me this time. I have a gig scheduled on Friday which they have to do as a duo and a backline rental deal on Sunday that someone else will have to deliver. This just sucks. And of course Jackie's brother, sister in-law and niece are in from California. I haven't been able to go anywhere or do anything with them. They leave Thursday.

I'll let you know what happens. If I get admitted I'll sent a text to Tat.
