It's a little known secret that FM owns a mail order keyboard shop. She's like the guy with the tire store throwing tacks out on the highway to drum up business.
Actually FM looks nothing like any tire store owner I've ever met. I'm just sayin.....
Hi PA. Funny, as I was starting to type this Tat just sent me a text with the same question.
We are getting by. Jackie's family is having some major medical issues in Chicago. Jackie has been there for two and a half weeks taking care of an aunt and uncle. My nephew is still missing, tonight marks six weeks. I didn't want to leave town for fear that my sister would get a call while I was gone.
I miss you all. I jump on to read every couple of days. I haven't been posting as the witty part of my brain is out of order right now. Thank you all for keeping my nephew, my family and I in your thoughts.

hi all - so, per last night's post, I scored a good deal on a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 from a fellow TBer ... the deal went down in lower Manhattan tonight. Very nice guy and we actually got a bunch of bass lovers talking in this office lobby on Maiden Lane. Anyway, I've got it home in Brooklyn where my cabs are mainly for upright use ... so I put it on the kitchen counter and plugged in the Stingray 5 and a pair of headphones -

ha ha - nice! It's not the bass I use the most, but it's a great all-around bass. I like it for situations like testing new gear because it can do anything.
My Warwick FNA Jazzman is actually my #1 now, having displaced the Stingray. But the Stingray is still a close second. I really like it a lot.
do you have a pic of the 'Wick? I've never played one and am really craving to ... although this month's gear-slut budget is already gone on the Streamliner.

So, if one was looking to try a fretless, do you think there is anything wrong with buying an inexpensive one? What would you recommend looking for?
