Hi Guys and girls, please excuse my absence from the group... (Or spoon me for my absense... whatever works for you!). After a bad medical weekend and and a wisdom tooth pull yesterday I am finally catching up:

FM - I am sure I am so far back in the wax line but......

Update on my refin bass. I tool Thand's advise and tried to do it myself. Didnt go well. I need to practice more (bass and solder) . The good thing is a friend of mine solders for a living, and he took a look at my pups, (plus he plays bass and 6 string) and he said he will show me how to do it right. Her also said that I should replace the cap that broke because it was not the correct size. So tonight the solder will happen and I will re-install tomorrow and finally to be able to hear what this beauty sounds like. I am going to attempt a setup myself, as I found a great guide here on TB.

Now that I feel better, I am chomping to get playing again!

I actually get a wax on my back every now and then seeing as I'm too fat to stick a razor there without cutting myself.
