Hi Guys and girls, please excuse my absence from the group... (Or spoon me for my absense... whatever works for you!). After a bad medical weekend and and a wisdom tooth pull yesterday I am finally catching up:



Update on my refin bass. I tool Thand's advise and tried to do it myself. Didnt go well. I need to practice more (bass and solder) . The good thing is a friend of mine solders for a living, and he took a look at my pups, (plus he plays bass and 6 string) and he said he will show me how to do it right. Her also said that I should replace the cap that broke because it was not the correct size. So tonight the solder will happen and I will re-install tomorrow and finally to be able to hear what this beauty sounds like. I am going to attempt a setup myself, as I found a great guide here on TB.

Now that I feel better, I am chomping to get playing again!

I actually get a wax on my back every now and then seeing as I'm too fat to stick a razor there without cutting myself.

I have yet to meet someone skilled enough to shave their own back.

Recording was fun. We might go back and do more tomorrow (later today, really ). We have three songs that don't have lyrics yet. It's easier for me to write to something recorded, so hopefully we'll get those done.
