But, I'm too cheap to pay $50+tip every three weeks. And, sad as it is, it gets me two hours in the bathroom by myself with my cd player.

Ok guys, she's all dressed up and ready to go. Solder job is done. We changed all the wires due to some cold solders and bad wires. He recommended that we move the ground from the plug to the volume pot. I was up for anything so that's what we did. Re-installed everything. Slipped once with the screw driver placing a chip in my new freaking paint job (i chalked it up to mojo).
Strings on, tuned up, and plugged in. We have sound, and it's loud, low, and thumping. And I am proud of the effort and the results. So here is the crappy cell phone pic below. I need to drag out the good camera and take a full family picture soon. Thanks for all the advice and encouragement!

Ya'll haven't even begun to see the beginnings of it. I didn't get to see it in person, but I saw more pictures than this. You should TOTALLY see the ceilings. The pipes are all different colors! It's amazing.
I'm considering just planning a vacation to Pittsburgh so I can go play in the studio. We should have a GTG there if for no other reason that to hang out with Mike & Jackie.

Probably. I prefer to go and have that done because it's my "girl time." I do my own manicures/pedicures because I don't trust those whirlpools to be sanitized.
