I took every one's suggestions for Bloop mods and combined it with my own plans. I have made some revisions to the Bloop that I think are peachy keen but I have room for one more mod on a switch. Please vote for one of these ideas below! Whether you would buy one or not, I wonder what bassists think would think more useful. All of these ideas would be on a switch and would be something you turned on or off.*
1. Selectable High Pass (low cut) on the Loop Send. This would be at a fixed value. If you select this one please suggest a frequency (examples, 100, 250, 400, 700, etc).
2. Selectable Low Pass (high cut) on the Clean channel. This would basically switch between the current cut-off frequencies and a full range clean. Could also perhaps switch between a higher roll off instead (2k, 5k, etc.)
3. Selectable Low Pass (high cut) on the Loop Return. This was the "Fizz Killer" idea and would basically be like a high frequency roll off like at the end of a Rat or DOD 250. It would be a fixed value (I like 7kHZ).
4. Selectable Diode Clippers on the Clean. This would function more as a "comp" control clamping the clean signals max volume. Could add some grit if you drive it hard enough. This would be for folks that wish the Clean channel were more compressed feeling.
5. Selectable mid cut on the Clean channel. This would be a fixed mid scoop like the contour controls on your amps. This would remove the clean channels mids so the loop channel's mids can pop even more.
Please vote in the comments if you would like to. Thanks!
*Disclaimer - Final decision to which mods are used will be based on a series of testing in the coming weeks.
